Warriors for Christmas
Lynbrook
firefighters left at 5:15 AM and returned at 9:30 PM. Two other
groups of Nassau firefighters also traveled to Camp Lejuene and
Fort Bragg to present Christmas presents to the wounded at those

On
December 9, 2011, Lynbrook Chief Michael Hynes led a group of
Lynbrook volunteers and joined with other Nassau firefighters,
who are members of Nassau County Firefighters-Operation Wounded
Warrior, to travel to the Walter Reed/Bethesda Medical Facility
at Bethesda and bring Christmas presents and holiday cheer to
wounded warriors undergoing medical treatment and rehabilitation
at that facility.
